Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Homebound is developed by Grayforge Labs. This page explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information. The short version is that Homebound collects nothing: there is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no account. The longer version is below.
Information we do not collect
Homebound does not ask you to sign up, does not ask for your email address, and does not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. The app contains no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK, and it makes no network request that carries information about you.
Homebound does not track you across apps or websites and never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. Its App Store privacy manifest declares no tracking and no collected data types, and the App Store listing is declared as Data Not Collected.
Earlier versions of Homebound did show ads and did include analytics. Both were removed, along with the tracking permission prompt. If that ever changes, this page will change with it.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress — level completion, stars, streaks, and settings — on your device. This data does not leave your device unless you have iCloud backups enabled through iOS, in which case Apple may include it in your device backup.
Game Center
Homebound uses Apple's Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. When you sign in to Game Center on your device, Apple handles your identity. Your score submissions and achievement progress are sent to Apple's Game Center service. We do not receive your Apple ID or personal details — only the aggregate leaderboard and achievement data that Apple exposes to developers. Apple's handling of this data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
In-app purchases
Homebound offers one optional purchase: a one-time unlock for the full campaign. Levels 1–50 are free, and the Quick Round and Daily Challenge modes are free permanently. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive no payment details — only a receipt, read on your device, that confirms whether the purchase has been made on your Apple ID.
If you bought the “Remove Ads” upgrade from an earlier version, the app honours it as a full unlock. Advertising has been removed from Homebound entirely, so that purchase would otherwise grant nothing.
Advertising and analytics
There are none. Homebound shows no ads, includes no advertising or attribution SDK, and measures nothing about how you play. No usage data, crash data, or device identifier is sent to us or to any third party.
If you have enabled Share with App Developers in iOS settings, Apple may share aggregate, anonymised diagnostic and usage data with us through App Store Connect. That is handled entirely by Apple, is not tied to your identity, and can be turned off at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Homebound is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app itself does not collect personal information from any user.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be mentioned in the release notes for that update.
