Homebound is a small game built by a small team. Email us and a real person will read it.
If you're reporting a bug, it helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the level number where it happened.
Frequently asked
How do I play?
Tap the screen to launch a creature toward the planet. That's the whole control scheme. Everything else — the planet's rotation, moons that orbit, asteroids that cross — happens on its own. Your job is to tap at the right moment.
What happens when a creature lands?
Wherever a creature touches the planet, it sticks. The planet fills up level by level, so the space you have to aim for gets smaller with every shot. When all the creatures for a level are home, you win.
Something went wrong on a level. What do I do?
Force-quit the app and reopen it. Your progress is saved after each level. If a specific level is consistently broken, email us with the level number.
My progress disappeared.
Progress is saved on your device. Restoring a new device from an iCloud backup should bring your progress with it. If it doesn't, email us with the Apple ID email you used on the original device.
I bought Remove Ads but I'm still seeing ads.
Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for the Remove Ads entitlement. If the purchase still doesn't restore, email us with your receipt from Apple and we'll help.
Can I turn off haptic feedback?
Yes — open Settings inside the game and toggle haptics off.
Can I turn off sound?
Yes — open Settings inside the game and toggle sound off. The silent switch on your device also silences the game.
Is Homebound available on iPad or Android?
Homebound runs on iPhone only right now. It may work on iPad via the iPhone compatibility mode, but the game is designed for the iPhone screen. We don't have an Android version planned.
I have a suggestion for a new mechanic.
We'd love to hear it. Send us an email and describe it in a sentence or two. We read every suggestion even if we can't reply to each one.
